Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer in Redmond seeks a Diamond Turning Machinist to manufacture sub-micron tolerance diamond-turned parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following work instructions, maintaining machinery, and conducting quality checks using advanced metrology tools. Experience with CNC machines and understanding of optics manufacturing is essential. The position requires flexibility in shift timings and the ability to lift and maneuver in tight spaces. Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in a production environment.
• 6+ months experience operating CNC machines.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Follow defined work instructions and process controls.
• Identify and report off nominal issues.
• Use metrology including CMM’s and optical microscopes.

Skills

Experience operating CNC Machines

Ability to provide feedback

Understanding of optics manufacturing
