Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Dialysis (HD) Technician in Madison, WI for a full-time daytime schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri). Compensation ranges from $23.77 to $32.00 per hour based on experience.

The role involves performing dialysis therapy under RN supervision, machine setup, patient monitoring, and strict adherence to regulatory and facility policies. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CMS and CCHT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS certification required or preferred.
• CCHT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of the hemodialysis team, providing safe dialysis therapy under RN supervision.
• Prepare for dialysis treatment and document findings as required.
• Set up delivery system, dialysate bath, dialyzer; perform mandatory alarm tests.
• Use Tablo device; input dialysis prescriptions and monitor vascular access patency.
• Record vitals and treatment data; monitor patient response and notify RN of changes.
• Maintain equipment; ensure safety alarms and infection control policies are followed.
• Disinfect equipment and prepare supplies to maintain a clean environment.
