Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a Dialysis Technician to provide patient-centred dialysis care under RN direction. You will set up dialysis equipment, initiate and monitor therapy, and document responses in the electronic health record while reporting variations to the charge RN.
The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with on-call and weekend requirements; a BLS credential is required, and CCHT certification must be obtained within 18 months or you must vacate the role.
The Dialysis Technician performs tasks and provides patient care as delegated by a Registered Nurse consistent with practice standards. The Dialysis Technician provides competent dialysis treatment consistent with treatment prescription and observes the patient's physiologic response to treatment and reports variation to the charge RN as indicated.
