National Renal Care, LLC in Santa Clarita, CA seeks a Certified Hemodialysis Technician to support nurse-directed patient care in a fast-paced dialysis facility. You will set up machines, monitor treatments, and assist with patient education while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and compliance with policies.

The role requires CHT/CCHT certification, BLS, strong communication skills, and solid computer literacy.

Competenze

Must have valid CHT/CCHT certification as defined by CMS.
Must hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook; proficiency in NRC applications within 30 days.
Successful completion of required training and competency checks within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge of dialysis terminology and procedures.

Mansioni

Assist with clinical and operational procedures to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
Obtain pre- and post-treatment weights and follow physician orders for labs.
Set up hemodialysis machines and monitor during treatments; respond to alarms and troubleshoot as needed.
Provide patient education under supervision, within scope of practice.
Maintain PPE use, patient confidentiality, and accurate documentation; report changes to the Dialysis Nurse.
