The RN will provide direct and indirect care to adult/geriatric ESRD patients, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: ADN or diploma required.
• Ability to license in the State of Alaska.
• Willing to travel throughout Alaska with overnight stays.
• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• Leadership ability and organizational skills.
• Computer software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care for adult/geriatric ESRD patients.
• Use the nursing process to assess needs and plan, implement, and revise care.
• Educate patients and families and document care provided.
• Coordinate with physicians, ancillary services, and other providers for continuity of care.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice and delegate tasks appropriately.
