Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nonprofit team. You will provide specialized nursing care in in-center hemodialysis, supported by a dedicated patient-care team.

We offer paid 12-week training with a preceptor, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and Sundays off. The position features four 10-hour shifts with no overnights, fostering a patient-centered care culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies per standards.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies.
• Provide ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes to physician/families.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rounds.
• Document education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff.
