Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. This float RN will support in-center hemodialysis units at Kingsport and Sevierville, with three 12-hour shifts starting at 4:30am and Sundays off. Qualifications

• Accredited nursing degree required.
• Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available.
• DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies; ensure quality standards.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies.
• Provide ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis; communicate changes with physician and families.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
• Document patient education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff as directed.
