Job summary

Reifenstein Dialysis in Juneau, Alaska, is seeking a compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our adult/geriatric ESRD care team. This full-time role offers relocation support and a sign-on bonus, with flexible scheduling and 36 hours per week.

You will provide direct and indirect nursing care, educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians, and maintain professional standards while focusing on quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: A.D.N. or nursing diploma required.
• Ability to license in the State of Alaska.
• Leadership ability and organizational skills.
• Computer software knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to understand and implement government standards.
• Strong belief in quality patient care and maximizing clinical performance measures for each patient.
• Commitment to principals of customer service for patients, staff and physicians

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect nursing care for an adult/geriatric ESRD patient population.
• Utilize nursing process to assess needs, plan, evaluate and revise care.
• Initiate and provide ongoing patient and family education and include patient/family in care planning.
• Maintain communication with physicians, ancillary services, and other healthcare providers for continuity of care.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice and delegate tasks appropriately.
