Job summary

Dialyze Direct is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN day shifts in New Jersey. The RN will provide dialysis-related nursing care, collect health data, and coordinate with nephrologists and facility staff to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS certification, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, travel occasionally to nearby locations, and participate in EMR documentation and

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• 6 months RN experience strongly preferred.
• 3 months of hemodialysis experience.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association Required).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to function with little oversight to provide nursing care, training, and home support (as needed).
• Works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives and nephrologists.
• Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre hemodialysis treatment.
• Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR.
• Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections.
• Performs clerical tasks in addition to patient care (filing, inventory management, etc.).
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues.
• Occasional travel to other nearby locations.
• Medication administration and documentation.
