Job summary

Select Medical in Madison, WI is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN/part-time shifts. You will provide dialysis care under physician direction, participate in care planning, and ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate post-ICU services in a critical illness recovery setting.

The role requires a State RN license, at least 1 year of hemodialysis experience, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 1 year of hemodialysis experience.
• BLS required; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: hemodialysis in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Initiating an on-going systematic assessment of patients.
• Providing nursing care to meet the needs of the hemodialysis patient.
• Interpreting assessment data and information.
• Collaborating with providers regarding the dialysis treatment plan.
• Performing hemodialysis as prescribed.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
