Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Hemodialysis RN to deliver direct patient care to inpatients needing dialysis within our rehabilitation setting. You will supervise treatments, assess patients, and develop tailored care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN preferred (we can help you obtain it).
• 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis care, equipment, and standards of care.
