Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our in-center hemodialysis team in Nacogdoches, TX. The RN will deliver specialized nursing care as part of a patient care team, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts starting at 5:15am and Sundays off.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies per standards.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies.
• Provide ongoing patient education and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes to physician/families.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
• Document required patient education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff as directed.
• Support additional tasks as requested.
