Job summary

Dialyze Direct is seeking a Registered Nurse in Ohio for a full-time position with day shifts Monday to Friday. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, independent and critical thinking, and collaboration with nephrologists and facility staff.

The RN will collect health data, implement care plans, and manage EMR entries. Requirements include a valid RN license, BLS certification, and dialysis-related experience; lifting up to 35 pounds is required, with occasional travel to nearby

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• 6 months RN experience strongly preferred
• 3 months of hemodialysis experience
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) required
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required
• Safety sensitive position

Responsibilities

• Must be able to function at a high level with little oversight to provide nursing care, training, and home support (as needed)
• Works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives and dedicated Nephrologists
• Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre post hemodialysis treatment
• Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes
• Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR
• Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections
• Perform clerical tasks in addition to patient care (i.e., filing, inventory management, admission documentation, creating patient charts, etc.)
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues
• Occasional travel to other nearby locations; and
• Medication administration and documentation
