Job summary

Dialyze Direct seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality dialysis care and patient support. The role emphasizes independent, critical-thinking nursing with occasional travel to nearby locations and no on-call duties in a fixed schedule.

Applicants should hold a valid RN license, have dialysis exposure, and be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. BLS certification is required, with opportunities for education assistance and professional reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• 6 months RN experience strongly preferred.
• 3 months of hemodialysis experience.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to function at a high level with little oversight to provide nursing care, training, and home support (as needed).
• Works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives and dedicated Nephrologists.
• Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre hemodialysis treatment.
• Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
• Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR.
• Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections.
• Perform clerical tasks in addition to patient care (i.e., filing, inventory management, admission documentation, creating patient charts, etc.).
• Maintains a positive and respectful attitude to all patients and colleagues.
• Occasional travel to other nearby locations; and
• Medication administration and documentation.
