PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. The role involves coordinating care, discharge planning, and patient education for post-hospitalization, with dialysis oversight as ordered by physicians.

The position requires an active RN license in the state of practice, and BLS certification. ACLS is preferred initially and required after 90 days, with NNCC certification optional.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
• Certification through the NNCC is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
• Dialysis Nurses oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
