Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Georgetown in Georgetown, DE is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise care for patients on dialysis, under the direction of the Nursing leadership. The RN will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching.

This role requires an active RN license in DE, CPR/BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS day-1 for Charge Nurses; 90-day rule).

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
• Certification through the NNCC is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Oversee dialysis treatments as ordered by physicians
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver and supervise patient care
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and community resources
