Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to oversee nursing services on each shift and supervise staff in a dialysis-focused clinic.

The role involves coordinating clinical and operational tasks, administering medications as ordered, and supporting physician rounds with timely order transcription. The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, has dialysis experience, and demonstrates leadership, strong communication, and color discernment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state and in good standing.
• 12 months nursing experience, including 3 months dialysis exposure.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.
• Demonstrated leadership and good judgment.
• Proficient in English, with written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills; proficient in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services each shift and supervise staff.
• Assist with clinical and operational processes to reduce hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Document and administer medications as ordered; review patient profiles monthly.
• Assist physician during rounds and transcribe orders timely.
• Support anemia management and dialysis protocol implementation.
• Comply with laws and company policies; ensure safe practice.
• Respond to clinic emergencies and communicate patient status to the team.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and physicians.
• Assist in orientation of new staff as a preceptor.
• Participate in evaluating dialysis services and updating policies.
• Assist Administrator with interviewing and staff actions.
