Job summary

Rendevor Dialysis in Butner, NC is seeking a Correctional Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality hemodialysis care in a secure setting. You will apply your nursing knowledge daily, work with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient assessment, treatment, and documentation.

This role operates three days per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) at Butner Federal Medical Center. An NC RN license, CPR, and dialysis experience are required, with opportunity for growth through training,

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
• Current RN License for North Carolina and CPR certification (or within three months of hire).
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
• One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Understands basic renal function and consequences of renal failure; performs thorough patient assessments.
• Recognizes changes in dialysis patients and adjusts therapy as needed; notifies nephrologist.
• Sets priorities for patient care and communicates with staff.
• Develops and implements care plans in collaboration with the team (nephrologist, dietitian, etc.).
• Assumes primary nurse responsibilities as directed.
• Maintains clear documentation and timely reporting of orders.
