Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (Dialysis) to oversee dialysis treatments, provide direct nursing care, and ensure patient safety.

This full-time role offers daily pay and requires VA RN license, BLS, and dialysis experience; you will collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a sub-acute/long-term setting.

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia RN license.
  • BLS Certification (CPR) required.
  • Dialysis experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Knowledge of dialysis procedures and safety regulations.

  • Provide direct nursing care to dialysis patients per orders and policies.
  • Supervise and monitor dialysis treatments for safety and outcomes.
  • Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis.
  • Administer medications per physician orders.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, dialysis technicians, and the care team to coordinate care.
  • Ensure infection prevention and regulatory compliance.

$45-$52/hour

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (Dialysis):
  • Provide direct nursing care to dialysis patients in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.
  • Supervise and monitor dialysis treatments to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Assess patient condition before, during, and after dialysis treatments, responding promptly to changes in status.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and applicable regulations.
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, dialysis technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications for Registered Nurse (Dialysis):
  • Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of va.
  • Previous dialysis experience preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification (CPR) required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of dialysis procedures, patient safety practices, and applicable healthcare regulations.
