Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC in the Nashville area seeks a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient dialysis team, delivering safe hemodialysis with emphasis on patient education, care continuity, and close monitoring during each session.

Responsibilities include administering dialysis per orders, monitoring for complications, vascular access care, and coordinating with the nephrology team. Prior dialysis experience is preferred; strong acute care backgrounds may be considered.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee (or multi-state/compact).
• Current BLS certification.
• Dialysis/nephrology nursing experience strongly preferred; new-to-dialysis RNs with strong acute care backgrounds may be considered.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting.

• Assess vascular access sites and manage catheter, fistula, or graft care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, diet, and self-care between sessions.

This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality hemodialysis treatment to patients managing chronic and acute kidney conditions, with an emphasis on patient education, care continuity, and close monitoring throughout each session.

Responsibilities

• Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
• Monitor patients throughout treatment, identifying and responding to complications promptly
• Assess vascular access sites and manage catheter, fistula, or graft care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, dietary considerations, and self-care between sessions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate care with the broader nephrology team
• Participate in quality assurance activities and infection control protocols

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee (or active multistate/compact RN license)
• Current BLS certification
• Dialysis/nephrology nursing experience strongly preferred; new-to-dialysis RNs with strong acute care backgrounds may be considered
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting
