Job summary

PAM Health seeks a Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise care for patients in our dialysis unit. Under supervision from nursing leadership, you will coordinate care plans, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and provide patient and family teaching for post-discharge needs.

• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment; NNCC certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise patient care using the nursing process in the dialysis unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning; educate patients and families.
• Lead or support Charge Nurse duties as needed and ACLS is required for those roles.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurseis responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).Dialysis Nursesare responsible for overseeing dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

Pay Range

USD $52.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
