Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Cincinnati North is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN/As Needed shifts in Cincinnati, OH. You will work closely with the medical team to deliver high-quality hemodialysis care and ensure patient needs are met.

The role requires a State Registered Nurse License, at least one year of hemodialysis experience, BLS, and ACLS within six months. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License.
• At least one (1) year of Hemodialysis experience.
• BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of patients.
• Providing nursing care to meet the needs of the hemodialysis patient.
• Interpreting assessment data and information.
• Collaborating with providers regarding the dialysis treatment plan.
• Performing hemodialysis as prescribed.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Using independent and interdependent judgment, the Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. In collaboration with the physician, the Dialysis RN assures implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
