Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse for full-time shifts starting at 5:30am to 11:00am with Sundays off and no overnights.

New graduates are encouraged to apply and paid 12-week training with a preceptor is provided. Responsibilities

  • Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and supplies and ensure quality standards.
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing patient education and health coaching.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes to the physician and families.
  • Administer and chart prescribed medications as ordered.
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
  • Participate in patient rounds and chart reviews.
  • Support onboarding and training of new staff.

A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.

Schedule

Schedule : Full-time, four 10-hour shifts, starting at 5:30am and 11:00am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Compensation

Compensation : Pay range starting at $40 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested

  • Accredited nursing degree required
