Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care at one of its in-center hemodialysis units.

The role supports a patient care team to ensure safe care and high-quality outcomes in a comfortable clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio. Potential full-time shifts include four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts starting at 4am; Sundays off and no overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• RN with accredited nursing degree required.
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available.
• DCI offers 3 months of comprehensive training.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies.
• Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes with physician and families.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
• Document required patient education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
• Additional tasks as requested.
