Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Fort Collins, CO seeks a capable PCT/CHT helper to join the dialysis health care team. Under RN supervision, you will assist in setting up and operating dialysis machines, monitor patient responses, document vital signs, and support safety and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification.
• CPR certification required; continued employment contingent on completion of dialysis training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access and assist in cannulation.
• Record vital signs, weights, and treatment parameters.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis and report changes to RN or supervisor.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and environmental standards.
• Assist in education and training of staff and patients as assigned.
