Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the dialysis team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assist in setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

You will document vitals and treatment data, support education, infection control, and participate in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification required.
• Completion of dialysis training program and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor patient response.
• Record vital signs, weight and treatment parameters; ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain infection control and environmental safety; report changes to RN or supervisor.
• Participate in CQI activities and clinical education as directed.
