Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis patient care technician to join the team. You will assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patients during treatment, record vital signs, and help ensure a clean, safe environment.

You will work under RN supervision, support education for patients, and participate in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Patient care experience managing patient well-being and safety.
• Ability to monitor and respond to vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Ability to assist in education for patients regarding dialysis procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing after treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation under supervision.
• Initiate dialysis per orders and monitor patient response.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Ensure safety alarms and machine readiness before and during treatment.
• Maintain clean and safe dialysis environment and prepare supplies.
