Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG seeks a Patient Care Technician to support dialysis treatments on-site in Macclenny, FL. You will assist under RN supervision, set up machines, monitor patient status, and ensure a safe care environment.

Responsibilities include recording vitals, managing treatment data, and coordinating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CMS/state certification expectations to be met.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during dialysis.
• Evaluates vascular access patency and cannulation as trained.
• Sets up dialysis equipment and administers prescribed UF/QB/QD per orders.
• Documents treatment data accurately in patient records and charts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing prior to treatment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and weight; evaluate treatment adequacy.
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis sessions per prescribed orders.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and report unusual findings to RN.
