Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CCHT or CHT certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up dialysis machines prior to treatment sessions.
• Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments per policies and procedures.
• Access temporary or permanent vascular access as needed.
• Administer anticoagulants, topical anesthetics, or saline as permitted.
• Monitor and document patient treatment data in the chart.
• Reinforce training provided by other healthcare team members.
• Follow quality control procedures under RN supervision.
• Provide patient care with compassion and without discrimination.
