Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis health care team member in Hyattsville, MD to assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will participate in patient education, monitor responses to dialysis, document vitals and treatment parameters, and help maintain a safe, clean dialysis environment in accordance with policies and CQI goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS certification/licensure within state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital setting preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and document vital signs.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment.
• Participate in CQI activities and infection control practices.
• Provide patient education under supervision.
• Assist with measurements and documentation.
