Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor therapy.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Monitor patient status and respond to issues; report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Assist in vascular access cannulation and heparin administration per state law or physician orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant dialysis environment and adhere to infection control policies.
