Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Texas is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to join our clinical team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status, document treatments, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

You will support education on adequacy measures, record vital signs, manage alarms, and participate in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet CMS/state certification requirements.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and check their wellbeing before treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access and cannulate; administer heparin as allowed.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Initiate and monitor dialysis per orders; manage alarms.
• Discontinue dialysis and complete related documentation.
• Ensure infection control and maintain a clean environment.
