A leading healthcare organization seeks a dialysis patient care technician to support patients during their dialysis treatments. This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse while ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols. Ideal candidates will possess relevant certifications and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The dialysis patient care technician (PCT) will provide care for the patient receiving dialysis, before, during and after the dialysis treatment, under the direct supervision and delegation of the acute inpatient dialysis Registered Nurse (RN). The dialysis PCT will provide direct and non-direct patient care, under their scope of practice, as deemed necessary by the acute inpatient dialysis RN. In addition, the dialysis PCT will provide quality assurance for machines and equipment in compliance with hospital policy and federal regulations.
