Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to deliver direct patient care under RN supervision. You will greet patients, ensure their comfort, and advocate for their needs while communicating effectively with the care team.

In this role you’ll contribute to a mission-driven environment focused on kidney care, with opportunities to develop professionally within a supportive multidisciplinary setting. Applicants must hold state certifications and CPR.

Qualifications

• Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) with relevant state certifications.
• Minimum six months of active hemodialysis patient care experience.
• CPR certification current and valid; compliance with state scope of practice.
• Ability to greet patients, advocate for care, and communicate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision following Satellite policies.
• Welcome patients on the treatment floor and ensure comfort throughout treatment.
• Advocate for patients and communicate pertinent information to the team.
• Maintain safety and quality care on the unit per center procedures.

What You Will Do

As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures per their state Scope of Practice, safely and efficiently. They will be the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor. Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians at Satellite are compelled to make the patients feel comfortable once they enter our centers and throughout the course of their treatment. The Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician will advocate for patients while they are at the unit, and effectively communicate with other team members any information pertinent to delivering quality care.

Education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent

Experience: Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician

License/Certifications: BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations) California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations) Current CPR certification
