Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in our California centers. You will greet patients, ensure comfort throughout the dialysis treatment, and advocate for patients while maintaining open communication with the care team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, six months of hemodialysis patient care experience, and state-appropriate CCHT certifications. CPR certification is also required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience: Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician.
• Licenses/Certifications: BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification as per state regulations; California CPR certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse following center policies and state scope of practice.
• Greet patients on the treatment floor and ensure their comfort throughout treatment.
• Advocate for patients and communicate pertinent information to the care team to deliver quality care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures per their state Scope of Practice, safely and efficiently. They will be the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor. Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technicians at Satellite are compelled to make the patients feel comfortable once they enter our centers and throughout the course of their treatment. The Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician will advocate for patients while they are at the unit, and effectively communicate with other team members any information pertinent to delivering quality care.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent

Experience: Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician
