Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, under RN supervision, in a clinical dialysis setting. You will support the patient care team by monitoring vitals, assisting with cannulation, and ensuring clean, safe treatment environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid PCT national or state certification as defined by CMS.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and weight before, during, and after treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access and assist in cannulation as delegated.
• Record treatment data accurately on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Maintain infection control and environmental safety per policy.
• Participate in CQI activities and education programs.
