Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated dialysis support technician to join the patient care team. You will assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient responses to therapy, and document vital signs and treatment data.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS/state certification, and CPR. Training will cover CQI activities, infection control, and patient education under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of dialysis machines.
• Initiate dialysis and monitor patient response to therapy.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation as directed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized treatment areas.
