Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Neptune, NJ clinic. The role supports licensed nurses in providing safe dialysis therapy and ensures patient comfort throughout treatments.

The PCT will assist with patient education, monitor vital signs, manage equipment setup, and help maintain a clean, safe environment in a high-demand dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMS/CMS training may be required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or achieved during training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and operating dialysis equipment and ensure safety of patients during treatment.
• Monitor patient status, record vitals, and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Assist in infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe treatment area.
• Assist in vascular access cannulation and evaluation of access patency under supervision.
• Document treatment data accurately and participate in CQI activities.
