Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS/state certification requirements must be met.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• CPR certification may be required after training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation; monitor therapy.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis therapy and intervene as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to policies.
• Support infection control and participate in CQI activities.
