Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join the health care team. Under RN supervision, you will set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patients, and ensure safe procedures and environmental cleanliness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR, and state/national certifications. Prior patient care experience is preferred. This role requires adherence to all policies and active participation in CQI activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state or national certification within the required state.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training.
• CPR certification required.
• Dialysis training program completion required for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor and document vital signs, UF goals, and treatment parameters.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation per orders.
• Provide patient education on adequacy measures and disease processes.
• Maintain infection control and environmental cleanliness.
• Support CQI activities and safety alarms checks.
