Job summary

Pure Life Renal is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist licensed nurses in providing dialysis treatment and patient care in our facility. You will operate dialysis equipment, monitor treatments, and document care in the electronic medical record, while ensuring patient safety and compliance with policies.

The role requires CPR certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass Ishihara color blindness testing as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with dialysis procedures is beneficial but not required.
• Certification: Hemodialysis technician within 18 months of hire; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients.
• Perform dialysis procedures as prescribed and monitor treatments.
• Document dialysis treatment notes in the electronic medical record.
• Report significant patient information, condition changes, or equipment issues.
• Assist with emergency operational procedures and CPR if needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe dialysis environment and operate emergency equipment.
