Job summary

Avera Dialysis-Wagner in Wagner, SD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care to patients on maintenance dialysis. The role operates within the scope of nursing practice and includes home dialysis training for patients and caregivers.

You will work on a multidisciplinary team, support clinical operations, ensure compliance with CMS and safety standards, and help advance quality improvement initiatives while promoting patient education and advocacy.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Active RN license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs and maintains knowledge and proficiency in dialysis treatment skills.
• Provides oversight and delegation to department staff.
• Documents in the patient record according to policy.
• Coordinates care with Medical Director, Nephrologist, patients, families and staff.
• Assists with patient education on dialysis and self-care training.
