Qualifications

  • Accredited nursing degree and RN license required.
  • Dialysis experience is preferred, not required for all postings.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus for leadership tasks.

  • Ability to prioritize and solve problems in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients and staff and provide direct patient care when needed.
  • Ensure dialysis treatments follow DCI policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement standards of care and participate in QAPI activities.
  • Plan training and assessments for patient care staff with nurse educator.
  • Coordinate program implementation with quality and risk managers.
  • Collaborate with medical director, social worker, dietitian, and nurses on care initiatives.
  • Integrate unit activities with clinic operations and management.

Dialysis Nurse Manager

We are looking for a Dialysis Nurse Manager who will oversee dialysis facility management and nursing personnel supervision to ensure safe, efficient dialysis treatments for all DCI patients.

Compensation

Pay range $95,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities
What You Can Expect
  • Schedule patients and staff and provide direct patient care when needed
  • Ensure all hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis facility follow DCI policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement standards of care, providing patient care in accordance with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI’s Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and the individual clinic’s requirements
  • Plan and provide training and assessments for patient care staff alongside nurse educator
  • Coordinate DCI, QAPI and risk management program implementation with the quality and risk manager
  • Collaborate on patient care initiatives with medical director, social worker, dietitian, charge nurses, technical managers, staff nurses and equipment technicians
  • Integrate unit activities as they relate to patient care, staff education, research projects and unit expansions with clinic operations director and medical director
  • Manage nursing, social work, dietitian, and technical staff supervision with medical director
  • Fulfill supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DCI’s policies and procedures and applicable laws
  • Work closely with area operations director on identifying operational efficiencies

  • Six months’ dialysis experience required, one year dialysis experience preferred

  • Current TN Registered Nurse license
