Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. invites qualified per diem staff nurses to join the Hemodialysis Unit in Boston.

The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care in a rotating shift schedule, including 6 am–4:30 pm, 8 am–6:30 pm, and 11 am–9:30 pm, while maintaining a patient-centered focus. Ideal candidates hold a BSN or are pursuing one, with current Massachusetts nursing registration and recent hemodialysis experience.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts (Massachusetts); BSN preferred.
  • Experience: current, or in the last year, acute hemodialysis experience required; inpatient/outpatient experience preferred; HD charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients in the Hemodialysis Unit.
  • Work collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Job Summary

DIALYSIS STAFF NURSE, PER DIEM, Rotating Shift, BWH BOSTON The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing care for patients in the Hemodialysis Unit
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Rotating Shifts, schedule likely: 6 am - 4:30 pm, 8 am - 6:30 pm and 11 am - 9:30 pm

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience: Current, or recent within 1-year, acute hemodialysis experience required. Prefer current inpatient hemodialysis experience. Prefer outpatient hemodialysis experience. Prefer, within 1 year, hemodialysis charge nurse experience.

Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged. Able to work weekend, holiday and on-call rotation per the MNA contract.
