Adecco is helping our client place a Dialysis Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in NM dialysis clinics. You will perform assessments, monitor treatments, educate patients and collaborate with nephrologists and the care team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in New Mexico or a Compact Multistate license.
• Ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis stations and review patient assignments before treatments begin.
• Perform comprehensive pre-treatment patient assessments.
• Monitor vital signs and review medications.
• Access fistulas, grafts, and central venous catheters for dialysis treatments.
• Monitor patients during 3-4 hour dialysis sessions.
• Manage fluid removal, blood pressure changes, and treatment-related complications.
• Educate patients on medications, diet, fluid restrictions, and home care.
• Review laboratory results and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, PCTs, dietitians, and social workers.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Patient Care Technicians.

What You'll Do

As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, high-quality care throughout every dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing dialysis stations and reviewing patient assignments before treatments begin
• Performing comprehensive pre-treatment patient assessments
• Monitoring vital signs and reviewing medications
• Accessing fistulas, grafts, and central venous catheters for dialysis treatments
• Monitoring patients throughout their 3-4 hour dialysis treatments
• Managing fluid removal, blood pressure changes, and treatment-related complications
• Administering medications as prescribed
• Educating patients on medications, diet, fluid restrictions, and home care
• Reviewing laboratory results and maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborating closely with nephrologists, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), dietitians, and social workers
• Supervising, mentoring, and supporting Patient Care Technicians

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or a Compact Multistate RN License
• Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Schedule

Dialysis clinics offer a more predictable schedule than most hospital settings.

• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday
• Sundays are typically off
• Clinic schedules vary by location, with many shifts beginning early in the morning
• Candidates should be flexible and available to work any assigned shift based on clinic needs
