Encompass Health in Saint Petersburg, FL is hiring a Hemodialysis RN to join our inpatient rehabilitation team, delivering compassionate care to dialysis patients in a state-of-the-art dialysis suite. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to assess patients, create personalized care plans, supervise treatments, and expand your clinical skills while building meaningful patient relationships.

Requirements include current RN license, CPR, ACLS within 1 year, dialysis nursing experience, and

Qualifications

• Current RN license required by state.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (we can help you obtain it).
• 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Educating nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.
