Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Licensed Vocational Nurse to support clinic operations and patient care. You will monitor supplies, assist with staff labor tracking, and help ensure accurate documentation and compliance with policies.

This position requires a current LVN/LPN license, CPR within 90 days, strong English communication, and basic computer skills. Dialysis experience is preferred, with training provided by USRC within 8 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

  • Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • Dialysis experience preferred.
  • Completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director within 8 weeks of hire.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of English and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to organize time and tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days.
  • Must meet any state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
  • May assist with billing log preparation and updates.
  • Perform duties to meet patient care or operational needs of the clinic.
  • Obtain blood samples for laboratory analysis as required to complete physician orders.
  • Complete and document monthly reviews of patient medication profiles.
  • Knowledge of applicable health care professional practice act requirements.
  • Perform duties under supervision of a Charge Nurse and within policy, state and federal laws.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record of treatments, activities, and communications with patient, physician, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
  • Report machine problems to Biomedical Technician and Administrator.
  • Attend staff meetings and continuing education offerings as required.
  • Assist with staff training as requested.
