Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to support dialysis services in the outpatient setting. Under the supervision of an RN, you'll provide dialytic therapy to patients with acute renal failure or ESRD and work with a multidisciplinary team to support on-site hemodialysis.

Responsibilities include maintaining safe patient care, managing unit communications, and documenting care and treatments in the EMR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Licensed Practical Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing (required).

Responsibilities

• Observes safe practices and maintains a safe environment while caring for the patient.
• Operates the unit communication systems and relays messages appropriately.
• Documents patient care/assessment data in the EMR including vital signs, treatments and IV therapy.
