Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America seeks a licensed practical nurse to deliver direct patient care in a dialysis setting. You will perform dialysis procedures, monitor patients, and document clinical observations.

The role requires strong communication, CPR certification, and adherence to safety standards. Preferred candidates have 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience and a Nursing diploma (LPN/LVN) with current state licensure.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• CPR certification is required for patient-care responsibilities.
• One year of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred; dialysis experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for dialysis patients following the prescribed treatment plan.
• Perform dialysis procedures and monitor treatments.
• Document patient condition and report significant changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with patient teaching on dialysis care, diet, and medications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant dialysis environment.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR if needed.
