Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our dialysis team. You will provide direct patient care, monitor treatments, document progress, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, effective dialysis therapy.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with valid state licensure, CPR certification, and willingness to complete required training is required. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduates of approved nursing program with active state licensure.
• One year medical-surgical nursing preferred; dialysis experience preferred but not required.
• CPR certification and completion of Nurses Technical Training Program on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for dialysis patients per plan.
• Monitor treatments, document progress, and report changes.
• Assist with teaching and family education on dialysis care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control policies.
• Collaborate with RN, physician, and other team members to adjust care plans.
